Night Prayer at St Margaret's

Every Tuesday at 6pm, St Margaret’s Church in Stanford-le-Hope hold a Compline Prayer Service.

Rev Tom Rout invites us to “wind down the day and start the evening with a short prayer service. Everyone is welcome to come along, sit in the quietness and echo the words quietly in their hearts.”

Compline is a simple, peaceful prayer service done at the end of the day to give thanks to God and ask for His protection through the night. In the Anglican tradition, it includes Bible readings, prayers, and quiet moments to rest in God’s presence before sleep.

The service usual lasts around 15-20 minutes.
