High Sheriffs' Awards 2021-22
Each year, the High Sheriff gives financial support to voluntary organisations for initiatives that are helping to tackle crime, community safety and anti-social behaviour in their local area or across the County of Essex.
It was our pleasure to be nominated for the Essex County Fire & Rescue Service Shield at the 2021-22 High Sheriff Awards at Hylands House.
The award recognised the work of Proximity Schools, as we continue to support the mental health and education of young people who are disengaging with school in Thurrock.
As a result, we were the grateful recipients of £2,000 towards staff costs - so that we can be as available as possible to our community.
Congratulations to the award winners KAOS Youth Club, a key resource for young people in Rochford.
We would like to thank the Essex Community Foundation and High Sheriff Simon Brice Esq for a fantastic evening.
